Job Context

The Senior QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, security, and performance of enterprise software systems throughout the software development lifecycle. This role focuses on defining and implementing structured quality assurance practices, test strategies, and validation frameworks to support large-scale enterprise and factory digitalization initiatives.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and maintain QA/QC standards, test strategies, and quality governance frameworks aligned with enterprise development practices.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios covering functional, integration, system, regression, performance, security, and unit testing.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, UI/UX, and engineering teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform manual and automated testing across web, API, mobile, and enterprise application platforms.
• Establish and maintain defect management processes including defect logging, triage, root-cause analysis, and verification of bug fixes.
• Validate system integrations, data flows, APIs, and enterprise workflows to ensure end-to-end quality and reliability.
• Drive test automation initiatives using appropriate tools and frameworks to improve test coverage, efficiency, and regression reliability.
• Conduct performance, load, and stability testing in collaboration with development and DevOps teams.
• Ensure security and compliance testing aligned with OWASP principles and internal secure coding standards.
• Prepare quality reports, test summaries, and risk assessments for management and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a quality-first mindset across delivery teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor/Honors
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): IT Enabled Service, Software Company

Additional Requirements

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and DevOps-based delivery models.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing of enterprise and web-based systems.
• Strong experience in test case design, test execution, and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, and REST clients.
• Knowledge of SQL and ability to validate data integrity and backend workflows.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JMeter, or similar.
• Understanding of performance and load testing concepts.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Experience with automation scripting will be considered a strong advantage.
• Exposure to factory systems, ERP, HRMS, MES, or large enterprise platforms will be an added plus.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to provide training and quality guidance to junior QA team members.
• Professional QA/QC or software testing certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA, Agile Testing, or equivalent will be considered an added advantage.
• Knowledge of the Korean language will be considered a plus.
