Responsibilities & Context

The Factory IT Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining all IT-related operations within the factory premises. The incumbent must stay at the factory and ensure uninterrupted operation of CCTV systems, attendance machines, network infrastructure, and provide end-user IT support. The role requires hands-on experience in CCTV installation, troubleshooting, and overall IT maintenance.

CCTV Management & Maintenance

  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV cameras and surveillance systems.
  • Troubleshooting CCTV hardware, NVR/DVR, and network-related issues.
  • Ensuring proper recording backup and monitoring system functionality.
  • Coordinating with vendors when necessary.

Attendance Machine Management

  • Installation, configuration, and regular maintenance of biometric/attendance machines.
  • Troubleshooting attendance system issues.
  • Ensuring proper data synchronization and report generation.
  • Maintaining attendance system backups.

IT Infrastructure Maintenance

  • Maintain factory network (LAN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi).
  • Maintain system security and antivirus protection.

User-End Support

  • Provide IT support to all factory employees.
  • Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and network issues.
  • Install and configure operating systems and necessary software.
  • Support ERP/HR software users if required.

IT Inventory Management

  • Maintain updated records of IT assets and equipment.
  • Weekly IT inventory status reporting.

Reporting

  • Submit weekly IT status reports to Head Office.
  • Report system issues, downtime, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain service logs and maintenance records.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Technology

Experience

  • 1 to 3 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies, Paper

Additional Requirements

  • Age 25 to 35 years
  • Only Male
