Responsibilities & Context

Unique Group is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven General Manager - IT & SAP to lead the Group’s overall IT governance, digital transformation, and SAP landscape. This senior leadership role will be responsible for aligning technology initiatives with business objectives across all concerns of the Group.

  • Lead and oversee the Group’s IT strategy, governance, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Plan, implement, manage, upgrade, customization, data accuracy, reporting, and optimize SAP ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD, PP) across multiple business units.
  • Ensure effective IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data protection, trading software, HRIS, accounting systems, networks, servers, cloud infrastructure, disaster recovery frameworks, and end-user support.
  • Collaborate with Board members, Directors, and senior management to align IT and SAP initiatives with business goals.
  • Manage SAP implementation, rollout, upgrades, integration, and post-implementation support.
  • Lead, mentor, develop and evaluate IT staff; set KPIs and build a high-performing IT team.
  • Manage relationships with consultants, partners, vendors, SAP partners, ISPs, and suppliers; negotiate contracts and monitor SLAs.
  • Establish IT policies, SOPs, compliance standards, governance frameworks, and maintain system documentation and best practices.
  • Prepare and manage IT budgets, cost optimization, and ROI analysis.
  • Oversee system audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive innovation through automation, analytics, and emerging technologies.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Education

  • Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science
  • Master of Science (MSc)
  • CCNA Certification, SAP Certified Application Associate, Microsoft Azure Administrator, Data Analytics/Visualization, Certified Information Systems Security Professional
  • Additional certifications in IT governance, cybersecurity, or project management (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are desirable.

Experience

  • 12 to 15 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Airline, Diagnostic Centre, Group of Companies, Immigration/Visa Processing, Manpower Recruitment, Real Estate, Share Brokerage/ Securities House, Tiles/Ceramic

Additional Requirements

  • Age 35 to 45 years
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven hands-on experience in SAP ERP implementation and management in large organizations or conglomerates.
  • Proven experience in leading SAP implementation and enterprise-wide IT projects.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT architecture, infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience working with hotel, real estate, construction, production, education, trading, or diversified group companies will be preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
