1. Vehicle Inspection and Diagnosis

  • Perform comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic faults.
  • Use computerized diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to troubleshoot vehicle systems.
  • Prepare accurate diagnostic reports and recommend appropriate repair solutions.

2. Repair and Maintenance

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on passenger cars, commercial vehicles, SUVs, and light trucks.
  • Repair or replace engines, transmissions, suspension systems, steering systems, brakes, clutches, differentials, cooling systems, and fuel systems.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems, including sensors, ECUs, ABS, airbags, and engine management systems.
  • Perform wheel alignment, balancing, and tire replacement as required.
  • Conduct scheduled servicing according to manufacturer specifications.

3. Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer standards and company quality requirements.
  • Perform final inspections and road tests after repairs.
  • Verify that vehicles are safe and fully operational before release.

4. Workshop Supervision

  • Supervise and mentor junior mechanics, apprentices, and trainees.
  • Assign work based on technician skills and workload.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and technical support.
  • Monitor repair quality and productivity.

5. Safety and Compliance

  • Follow occupational health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workshop.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
  • Comply with environmental regulations regarding waste disposal, oils, batteries, refrigerants, and hazardous materials.

6. Documentation and Reporting

  • Complete job cards, inspection reports, maintenance records, and service documentation accurately.
  • Record spare parts used and recommend replacement requirements.
  • Report recurring technical issues to the Workshop Manager.

7. Customer Support

  • Explain repair findings and maintenance recommendations in a professional manner when required.
  • Support customer satisfaction by delivering quality workmanship and timely service.
