Perform comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic faults.
Use computerized diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to troubleshoot vehicle systems.
Prepare accurate diagnostic reports and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
2. Repair and Maintenance
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on passenger cars, commercial vehicles, SUVs, and light trucks.
Repair or replace engines, transmissions, suspension systems, steering systems, brakes, clutches, differentials, cooling systems, and fuel systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems, including sensors, ECUs, ABS, airbags, and engine management systems.
Perform wheel alignment, balancing, and tire replacement as required.
Conduct scheduled servicing according to manufacturer specifications.
3. Quality Assurance
Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer standards and company quality requirements.
Perform final inspections and road tests after repairs.
Verify that vehicles are safe and fully operational before release.
4. Workshop Supervision
Supervise and mentor junior mechanics, apprentices, and trainees.
Assign work based on technician skills and workload.
Provide on-the-job coaching and technical support.
Monitor repair quality and productivity.
5. Safety and Compliance
Follow occupational health and safety procedures at all times.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workshop.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
Comply with environmental regulations regarding waste disposal, oils, batteries, refrigerants, and hazardous materials.
6. Documentation and Reporting
Complete job cards, inspection reports, maintenance records, and service documentation accurately.
Record spare parts used and recommend replacement requirements.
Report recurring technical issues to the Workshop Manager.
7. Customer Support
Explain repair findings and maintenance recommendations in a professional manner when required.
Support customer satisfaction by delivering quality workmanship and timely service.
