Sewing Machine Operator

1. To collect cutter/scissors before starting work from the supervisor.
2. To Assist the operator in all tasks and follow instructions.
3. Understand the specified style, buyer requirements, and quality standards.
4. To perform trim excess threads from garments properly. After thread trimming,
arrange bundles and pass them to the next operator.
5. To inform the operator and supervisor if any problem occurs.
6. To keep the workplace clean and organized. After work, assist the operator in
cleaning the machine and return cutter/scissors to the supervisor.
7. To follow personal safety instructions and use required PPE.
8. To follow compliance and company rules and discipline during working hours.
9. To clean the machine and check whether oil leakage exists, before starting sewing
work,; ensure it is ready for operation.
10. To collect necessary machine parts such as bobbin, bobbin case, cutter, scissors, and
other tools from the supervisor.
11. To collect cutting parts from the supervisor.
12. To understand the specified style, buyer requirements, and quality standards from
the supervisor.
13. To set the correct size needle in the machine.
14. To match serial numbers of cut panels according to bundle and complete sewing
process accordingly.
15. To achieve the production target as per process.
16. To correct Immediately any mistakes during sewing.
17. To Inform the supervisor if any machine problem occurs. If a needle breaks, find the
broken parts with the supervisor’s help, submit them, and collect a new needle.
18. To train helpers under supervision and monitor their work.
19. To clean the machine before starting work, during lunch break, and after finishing
duty.
20. To submit all tools to the supervisor before leaving the factory.
21. To shut down the machine properly after daily work, and cover it with cloth/paper.
22. To follow compliance and company rules and discipline during working hours.

23. To perform component setting accurately by following the designated process SOP
(Standard Operating Procedure).
24. To use specified chemicals for component setting.
25. During work, verify required patterns, elastic measurements, thread codes, color,
size, etc.
26. To maintain a clean working environment at all times.
27. To inform the operation team supervisor, If any defect is found in the product,
